Nesting in snow

  Please - could anyone help with 2rjnuata's question about nesting in snow. I've seen the penguins sitting on snow into December, but not nesting in snow as deep and pitted as this.

  Great find wildmonster- that was such an interesting article! And the pengs sinking into the snow looks very funny, though swapping over egg brooding duties must be fraught with problems under those circumstances!
