Are there chicks in this picture? I thought only adults but want to check I'm getting it right before I go on, thanks!

Hi again @bluegreenmae - Have you had a chance to read through the FAQs? They do explain all of the information you need. Thank you for checking in. First, anytime you are not sure you must not mark.

In this photo the date is December 12. This is early on the breeding cycle (discussed in the FAQs), so we don't expect to see any chicks. You're correct that these are all adults! There will be 2 eggs in most nests by now. The nests are those wonderfully made walls of pebbles. We never mark eggs unless we see them clearly, and never broken or out-of-the-nest eggs.

Well done! Again, please do not mark what you don't feel sure of. The more you check the FAQs the more certain you will be. 😃 Welcome and thanks for your work.
