What kind of penguins are these?

I labeled them as chinstrap penguins, but they don't seem to match any of the species quite right. Could they be another kind of seabird?

Hi, These actually aren't penguins at all but Antarctic shags (cormorant). Please, mark them as Other animals (no need to choose the species).

As for Penguin species, there is no way to mark penguins as Chinstraps - we only count adults/chicks! Those pictures of individual species below are meant to help you tell them apart from other birds and to show you how their chicks look like. It is just a guide and switching them doesn't affect the classification anyhow. We're working on some changes to make this clearer.

Sorry for the confusion. Hope it is clearer now. But all of this is explained in our FAQs, it would be nice if you read them 😉

Thanks a lot! Enjoy the project 😃
