Adults of Chicks?

They are mainly adults olisteffen. In fact about 3 of them are chicks who have changed their young plummage to their adult plummage. The adults are now moulting their old feathers. It is therefore very difficult to tell who is an adult, and who is (or who was) a chick. Our rule is: 'When in doubt mark it as an adult' 😃

Funny rings in the water. Looks like something was dropped in. Guess it is the wind though. The water outside the rocks seems quite rough.

Could be a seal head just showing (under the moon symbol, this side of that pond), or reflected waves from the incoming tide waves 😕

not sure on the distinction between adult and juvies in molt so classed all as adults

@bonnieg - You made a perfect choice. Read those newly improved FAQs. Any time you aren't sure, mark as adult. Both moult and are hard to distinguish.
