Are these correctly dated pictures please?

Please could someone check out what is happening at this site?
Motherjoanne has spotted that on 12 February 2014 we see this picture, with no sign of any pairing/nesting/brooding, http://talk.penguinwatch.org/#/subjects/APZ00044u2 But just 21 days earlier on 22 Jan 2014 there are small chicks under guarding parents. http://talk.penguinwatch.org/#/subjects/APZ00044m6
Are the dates on the pictures reliable please?

I've just gone through twenty or so images from this time period. I suggest strongly that the penguins are moving around. In some photos (I've put them in chronological order) there are chicks and adults piled into the frame, while in others not a one- or only one or two- are visible.
But take a look at the following image links and see if you don't agree they are
- Moving around
- Moving chicks into creches and/or
- Just over the edges of the visible area, and behind the camera.
Jan. 1 7pm http://talk.penguinwatch.org/#/subjects/APZ00044n9
Jan. 09 6PM http://talk.penguinwatch.org/#/subjects/APZ00044o3
Jan. 26 11am http://talk.penguinwatch.org/#/subjects/APZ00044n7
Jan. 26 7pm http://talk.penguinwatch.org/#/subjects/APZ00044n9
Feb. 01 8am http://talk.penguinwatch.org/#/subjects/APZ00044r1
Feb. 09 2pm http://talk.penguinwatch.org/#/subjects/APZ00044s5
Feb. 09 6pm http://talk.penguinwatch.org/#/subjects/APZ00044t8
Feb. 11 http://talk.penguinwatch.org/#/subjects/APZ00044t6
Feb. 13 http://talk.penguinwatch.org/#/subjects/APZ00044v7
I see no reason to doubt the dates- just our assumptions! Remember our panic last season over the mass disappearance of one group of Rockhoppers? A Southern Giant Petrel had stopped in for lunch. Subsequent images showed it was hours before the babysitting adults herded the chicks back up the cliff to the nesting /creche grounds.
Anyway, see what you think. 😃 Good for Motherjoanne for looking closely and asking for verification and information. Thanks!

Wow! You guys are awesome. I had to leave and was just able to check back. Very nice work gardenmaeve, dancing along those time lines! I tend to get alarmist and assume catastrophe, but a vulture sitting on the camera pole is just as likely (If it is the Falklands). They are paying a lot of attention in this direction. And we only see one point of the possible extent of the site. Hope we learn more.
Thank you!Posted

Thanks so much gardenmaeve! It's really kind of you to spend the time tracking this sequence down!
