Hello james2016, thank you for counting penguins!
Strangely enough we actually don't see that many eggs. then again, when you think of how cold it is, mum and dad have to sit on those eggs pretty much all the time. So seeing eggs is rarer than you might think. In fact if the eggs are left out in the open for more than 5 minutes they become too cold to hatch.
You WILL see eggs though. On this picture it's only early November so not all of the penguins will have eggs laid yet. AND this picture is taken from quite a long way off. There are sites (especially the one we have called 'Egg_Rock', https://talk.penguinwatch.org/#/subjects/APZ0005owq) where the camera is a lot closer, the pictures are taken more often during the day, and so we see the eggs when the parent turns them, or when the parents swap brooding duties. The picture that I just quoted has about 7 eggs on view - enjoy them!

Make sure that you don't mark eggs that are not in a nest, or are broken.

We've got some really helpful Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) boards here: https://talk.penguinwatch.org/#/boards/BPZ0000007

I hope you see some eggs soon 😃
