Juvenile vs Chicks

It looks as though there are juveniles in this photo because they are grey and still have a fluff to them. What category would we mark them as?

    Hello 😃

It is a good question. As mentioned in the FAQs, juvenile Gentoos have white throats-chins and no white patches on their heads. Their feathers aren't black but dark grey. There are many juveniles in the picture as well as many adult ones. If you aren't sure about some of them, please, count them as adults. All of this is explained in the FAQs so I highly recommend to read them 😉

If you had any more question after reading them, please, let us know. We are here to help you with that!

Thanks for all your help, enjoy the counting!
