Puzzled by a white thing...

  Hi All, does anybody know what the 'white thing' might be in the upper right quadrant of the photograph? It looks about as big as an adult penguin and appears to be sitting on the rock so these clues would suggest... a penguin! However, it looks entire white. Albino penguin!? I'm just intrigued. 😃

  I suppose, it's most likely to be a normal penguin that happens to be facing the camera but maybe reaching round to clean its feathers - it's just perfectly lined up so that no black is showing. I've probably just answered my own question....!

  I think you're probably right in this instance Kirsty, but amazingly there are albino penguins - there's one at the Chilean base at GGV on Antarctica. I've some photos somewhere if you want to see.
