Greying out

  Have you stopped greying out the backgrounds? I have had a number pf pictures today (like this one http://talk.penguinwatch.org/#/subjects/APZ0002ent) that haven't been greyed out when previous pictures at the same sites have been.
  Maybe it's just chance that I've got several un-greyed close together.
  I know lots of people have found the greying out to be confusing, but I think it is very helpful in pictures like this one - otherwise you hav eno idea where to stop, whether to try to mark all the tiny little Ps in the distance. '

  agree with this, hope the grey patches come back. i find the photos with dozens or hundreds of tiny birds disheartening and prefer when the furthest are greyed out.

  Today picture do seem to be being greyed out - so perhaps yesterday was just an aberration.
