The egg is just visible around the 17th Jan, then there's a lot of nest sitting, which turns to simple guarding (the egg must have chilled down then). Around the 19th the nest appears abandoned, there's one shot of a penguin stealing pebbles, then by the 20th there's nothing at all left. Hopefully better luck next year 😦
