    Hi Annika 😃

    Snowy sheathbills are actually a bit smaller than Brown skuas (Sheathbills are about 38–41 cm in length; Skuas are about 52–64 cm in length). Penguin chicks are very small when they hatch but they're bigger than Sheathbills when fully grown, as well as adult penguins.

    The smaller chicks are, the more protection they need from predators.
