Why this penguin is alone here? I used to see them in groups, and in general these groups are numerous.

It's April, so many of the others have already raised chicks and both adults and chicks have moulted. The next move is to return to the sea- and a first visit for most chicks- because they haven't had anything to eat while their new, waterproof feathers grew in. This image shows only what's in front of the camera. Many others may be just out of sight, or as mentioned, fishing for delicious fish and krill. This one will join in shortly. 😉
