    Yes, most of the penguins are chicks in this photo. There may be a few adults, but it's hard to see with all that chick fluff everywhere. After chicks can keep their own body temperature constant, both parents from each nest must both go fishing to catch enough food for the one or two chicks and themselves. It's hard work! While the parents are fishing, the chicks gather into these groups where they are a little safer than standing all alone. When the parents return they can find their own chicks, and they will only feed the right ones! Clever, with thousands of chicks all calling and begging for food!
