1] Other unlisted animals: Seals, Shags, Johnny Rooks, Turkey Vultures, Reindeer..
- Sometimes, you can see an animal which isn't listed under the Others. You can mark it as any one of the listed Other animals (like Sheathbill, Skua, etc.) and then leave a comment if you want to. There is also an option to mark it as 'Other' without choosing the type of animal from the list. But please, don't mark them as vessels or humans. Thank you!
2] Distant birds flying above the sea
-Sometimes the birds flying over the sea are too distant to tell the species but please, mark them as long as you can tell they really are birds.
3] Buildings/objects
- There are some buildings present in the photos like the boat shed at Port Lockroy or the refuge hut on Petermann island.
- Please, do not mark these as Others. The scientists are aware of them and penguins don't consider them a threat.
- Please, do not mark any artificial objects like tents, cameras, bags.. etc. as Others either.
4] Vessels
- When there's a vessel with people on the board, please, don't count them as humans. The 'vessel' button is good enough for the results.
5] Humans
- If there are many humans on the land, no need to mark them all. Mark only those standing close to the penguin colony.
- If there is a group of humans standing very close to the penguins, you do not have to mark every human in the group.
