What species or name does this have? Gold crown feathers are new to me,,,,as is the large grass plants.

Good observation, Karincat. These are #Macaroni penguins, a species of crested penguins similar to and a bit larger than the #Rockhoppers we more often see in these images.

Last season we counted Rockhoppers on a cliff edge rookery, where we saw grass tussocks like these and also saw two visiting Macaronis.
