    Gee ... we don't see that often, particularly with the sheathbill, and there didn't seem to be masses of chicks here in 2016... 😦 😦

    What a sad picture 😕 But this is how it works in nature. Sheatbills have to eat too, and they have to feed their babies.

    Sheathbills are important scavengers. They clean up animals that have died, preventing disease. The sheathbill is doing what it is meant to do.
