  Why do you think so? There are no signs for that. Most of them are clearly adults (juvs don't have the black stripes over chins or long tail feathers)

  Another shot at this location which is often crowded but where there seem very few chicks - poor local feeding?

  We have no way of knowing what's going on with chicks or local feeding. It's true we see fewer chicks here but we see a tiny part of the rookery.
