  This site has millions of feathers from the previous season's molting. Is the feature in the background natural or man made?

  Those feathers are amazing. I guess, given the bashing they have each year on adult penguins they must be made of truly tough protein 😃

  The feature in the back looks like a road. I've see images without snow. Pretty amazing rock formation.

  I'm not sure about this place, it could be a bit of very old lava flow for example. Let's keep an eye on it see if we can work it out 😄

  We've seen a bit of it in pictures from about 2 years ago when the camera faced a bit further in that direction. I'll see if I can find one
