Greyed out areas

  • Nosmo_King by Nosmo_King

Why in some images is there a greyed out area in the upper part of the frame where it's not possible to mark penguins? (I notice this area doesn't show when the image is added to the discussion boards).

What response should I give if I can mark all of the penguins in the available foreground, but can see penguins in the greyed-out area? Should I select that I have marked them all or that there are too many to mark?

    Cheers,

    Nosmo

    Hi @Nosmo !

The shaded area is there in cases when the scientists don't want us to mark anything at the background.

Don't worry about any penguins in that area. When it asks you whether there are any animals there, I would click on the 'No' button.

    Thanks for the question.

    Cheers, Z.

So, if there is nothing in the foreground we should even say 'no' to the first question, indicating that there are no animals at all?

    Yes, that should be correct.
